Three in a row….enough!

Have to say I wasn't sorry to say good-bye to 2016. I am hopeful this year will include less isolation and less overeating. However, I am grateful for continued sobriety....drinking again would be a disaster for me. Unfortunately there have been a few bumps in the road recently....
Roof tile fell and broke out the windshield of the car...
Plumbing problem...have to repair lines outside...big $
My spouse and I were pulling out of our driveway and ran into a car parked right behind us...our fault...
There could be more, but I refuse to remember...I used to accomplish this through vast amounts of whatever liquor I chose to consume.
So I am hopeful the accident streak is slowing down and grateful I do not have to drink to not think about it. Hope everyone is having a peaceful, happy, sober New Year so far. If sobriety has not happened yet, why not start right now. Stay strong friends and remember it is never to late to become and remain sober...
