Detox

detoxing addictThe critical first step in freeing yourself from drug addiction or alcohol is ridding your body of existing toxins at a medical detox center.  Recovery Strategies helps provide a clean slate, and a clean foundation upon which to build new and healthy habits.

Attempting to rapidly home detox yourself from alcohol or drugs could have dangerous, even grave consequences. Working with Recovery Strategies and having an expert, experienced medical staff to manage a safe process is vital to your well being.

Most clients who come into treatment for drug and alcohol related issues will need supervised medical detox.  Detoxification services are individualized to the client’s needs.

Outpatient Program

outpatient-servicesRecovery Strategies has an outpatient program

Outpatient Suboxone Program for Opioid Addiction
The Outpatient Suboxone Program for Opioid Addiction is designed to help patients struggling with opioid addiction. Examples of opioids include heroin, percocet, vicodin, oxycodone, oxycontin, morphine, MS Contin, and methadone.
The process begins with an initial assessment which is done to determine if patients are appropriate for our suboxone program. Next, an appointment for suboxone induction is scheduled where patients will be observed at our clinic as they initiate suboxone medication. Following successful induction of suboxone, the patient enters anoutpatient program.
Patients will attend groups aimed to increase safe copings skills to prevent the return to active use,  as well as receive suboxone by our Addiction Psychiatry/Medical Team.

A good candidate for the outpatient program has:

  • Shown they are able and willing to participate in their recovery treatment plan from substance abuse and alcohol.
  • A good support system at home, or in the community outside the program.

Assessments can be done Monday through Friday and two Saturday’s each month.  Our treatment staff would develop a personalized treatment plan.  Many group meetings are available at no charge including NA, exercise, nutrition, Expectant Mothers, New Mothers, Faith based, just to name a few.

Pregnant Women and Expectant Mother Programs

mothers and pregnant moms get helpRecovery Strategies offers comprehensive and professional services for pregnant women and mothers.

Since SUBOXONE is not advised for pregnant women, Recovery Strategies has developed a separate program with the use of Buprenorphine (Subutex), keeping withdrawal to a minimum for Mom and Baby.  Combine that with our “mommy-to-be,” and “new mom” group and the expectant mother will feel prepared, informed, and healthy.

Recovery Strategies prevention and education services highlight the dangers of drug use, reinforce self-esteem, and educate adults to make positive choices.  Our program focuses on the devastating effects of addiction and the harmful effects of abusing medications such as hydrocodone, oxycodone, oxycontin, valium, Xanax, as well as meth, cocaine, crack.
